The New Zealand NZ Cinematography Society has a new President in the form of Aaron Morton NZCS.
Aaron’s credits include Orphan Black, Black Mirror, 6 Days, American Gods, Evil Dead, Spartacus, and Mulan. He takes over from Simon Raby NZCS who has stepped down as President of the Society.
Amber Wakefield, Executive Officer of the NZCS, said, “On behalf of the committee we thank you Simon. Your guidance and enthusiasm will be dearly missed. You’ve brought us intelligent, forward-thinking, and humorous leadership and have genuinely been a powerhouse at the helm. You have raised the bar high and certainly leave some big shoes to be filled. It’s been a privilege to have you leading the Committee, and we thank you very much.
“Aaron has served on the committee previously and was humbled to be nominated. The Society is very fortunate to have someone of his caliber step into this role, and we thank him for rising to the occasion.”
