The BBC Player app is now available on Malaysia subscription provider Astro, giving viewers access to a mix of content spanning from world class documentaries, premium British dramas, aspirational lifestyle programmes, engaging pre-school favourites and popular shows – all within the Astro interface.
The BBC Player app offers both Catch Up and on demand shows from BBC Lifestyle, BBC First, BBC Brit, BBC Earth and CBeebies, depending on viewer’s subscription package.
The addition of the BBC Player app, brings to eight the number of streaming apps available through the Astro interface. Other services include beIN SPORTS CONNECT, Disney+ Hotstar, HBO GO, iQIYI, Netflix, TVBAnywhere+ and Astro GO, with more streaming apps such as Viu coming soon.
