Malaysian pay operator Astro has launched the beIN SPORTS CONNECT, iQIYI and TVBAnywhere+ apps on its Ultra Box, allowing customers to stream more LIVE global sporting events and Asian entertainment including Korean, Chinese and Hong Kong dramas and movies, local favourites and anime all-in-one on their big screen TV.

Astro says it is excited to add the beIN SPORTS CONNECT app on the Ultra Box for sports fans, which brings major European football leagues such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League LIVE and on-demand in addition to over 3000 hours of live tennis including the ATP Cup and Laver Cup.
As the ‘Home for Asian Entertainment’, iQIYI boasts of stellar line up of C-dramas including Love Like the Galaxy, starring popular talents Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi and iQIYI exclusive local original melodrama starring Fasha Sandra, Afieq Shazwan, and Aidil Aziz, Rampas Cintaku; long time hit Japanese anime series such as One Piece; and catch up on the best local dramas such as 7 Hari Mencintaiku 3, Kerana Aku Isteri Bidaan and Cukup Derita Itu.
Fans of TVB Hong Kong dramas can now stream over 40,000 hours of the biggest Chinese entertainment on the TVBAnywhere+ app on the Ultra Box, in addition to the mobile app. The TVBAnywhere+ app offers an extensive library comprising the latest drama series, variety shows, evergreen classics and unlimited TVB originals such as the crime drama Against Darkness, hilarious variety show Super Trio Returns, supernatural reality show Ghost Bushwhacker and Scoop, an infotainment programme that discusses the talk-of-the-town topics. The app is available to customers on the Chinese Favourites selection as part of their Astro TV Pack.
