Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (Astro) has won the Analytics – Broadcasting award in the Analytical Capabilities for Personalising Digital Advertising & Content category at the recent Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2022.
In its pursuit to enhance users’ experience, Astro says it has been seeking to understand and identify customers’ preferences by leveraging technology and its first-party data to create a more relevant context for advertisers and personalised content for customers across Astro’s TV, radio and digital platforms.

Astro uses automated metadata tag creation, based on content, to identify customer interests which allows it to tailor user experiences in terms of content and advertising across all Astro platforms.
