CABLE TV Secures Broadcast Rights of EFL Championship and Carabao Cup

CABLE TV is pleased to announce its carriage of The EFL Championship and the Carabao Cup from 2021 to 2022 with exclusive broadcast rights in Hong Kong. Starting from 8 August 2021, CABLE TV will live broadcast over 100 matches, so as to bring the best international sporting events to viewers.

The EFL Championship is known as the most frequent and tense league. Starting from 8 August 2021 (Hong Kong Time), CABLE TV will carry over 100 live Championship matches. Competing on the promotion chance of the Premier League, the fans are expected to see the 24 clubs including the relegated clubs from the Premier League, Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United, and the promoted clubs from League One, Hull City, Peterborough United and Blackpool, battling in the football pitch.

The Carabao Cup, an annual football competitions organised by the English Football League (EFL) opens to any club within the top four tiers of the English football league system. The first round of league is scheduled to take place from 10 August to 12 August 2021 (Hong Kong Time), CABLE TV will live broadcast four of the key matches. Starting in 2020-21, the winners will get a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Since the Premier League giants like Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc. will join the competitions, viewers can definitely enjoy a captivating sports events.
