Entries Open for the 2026 AiMCO Awards

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has announced that entries are now open for the 2026 AiMCO Awards, with the awards night to be held at The Roundhouse in Sydney on 25 February 2027.

Now in its sixth year, the AiMCO Awards is the national celebration of Australian influencer marketing, recognising the creators, brands, agencies and businesses driving the sector forward. Last year’s awards programme attracted more than 255 entries, the largest field in its history, and drew more than 350 guests.

Every entry is assessed by an independent judging panel of senior expert practitioners drawn from brands, agencies, talent management agencies and the creator community. In recent years, that panel has numbered more than 90 independent judges.

Creators, agencies and brands can now submit awards entries through AiMCO’s entry portal at https://aimco.awardsplatform.com/ to showcase their best work from the past 12 months.

The top honour, the AiMCO Most Influential Award, is selected from the winners of the Brand categories and is judged by marketers only. For creators, the People’s Choice Award is open to every shortlisted creator across the awards programme and is the night’s headline creator honour.

The 2026 programme spans 36 categories across three streams: Creators, with 15 categories; Brand, with 10 categories; and Industry, with 11 categories. Two categories, Best Independent Talent and Unsung Hero, are free to enter.

AiMCO Managing Director Patrick Whitnall said: “The 36-category awards list demonstrates just how much the industry has grown and established itself as a recognised and effective form of marketing.

“Creators are building long-term brand partnerships and businesses of their own, and brands and agencies are delivering integrated, data-led influencer campaigns that stand up against any other channel. The AiMCO Awards exist to recognise that work and to set the benchmark for what great influencer marketing looks like in this country.

“Last year was our biggest yet, and an industry growing this quickly deserves a night that matches it. The Roundhouse gives us the space to bring the whole industry together in one room.

“If you are a creator, agency, technology company or brand, submit your entry and secure your tickets, because this will be the biggest night this industry has had.”

Early-bird entries for the AiMCO Awards close on 17 September 2026, and standard entries close on 1 October 2026. Entries are open at https://aimco.awardsplatform.com/.

Tickets to attend the awards are also available, with early-bird ticket sales closing at 4pm on Friday, 27 November. Tickets are available at https://events.humanitix.com/aimco-summit-and-awards-2026-27.

AiMCO Awards entries are submitted online in writing. Entries are open to AiMCO members and non-members. Entry fees, category criteria and judging expressions of interest are available at the AiMCO website.
