Grass Valley has signed a landmark agreement with Jamuna TV, a leading privately owned news and current affairs channel in Bangladesh, to implement the country’s first fully native 4K broadcast workflow.
This transformative project is being delivered in partnership with Bangladesh Broadcast Systems, a leading systems integrator in the region. Under the guidance of CEO Mr. Atik and with strategic and technical leadership from Jamuna TV CTO Masum-ur Rahman, the upgrade aligns Jamuna TV’s future-focused vision with Grass Valley’s advanced technologies.
Jamuna TV, a 24-hour broadcaster operated by the Jamuna Group, is renowned for adopting cutting-edge technology and currently runs a fully file-based HD workflow. The upgrade to 4K will significantly enhance picture quality and deliver a richer, more immersive viewing experience for audiences across Bangladesh and beyond.
The upgrade includes:
- Deployment of LDX 98 Native 4K Cameras across Jamuna TV’s news and program studios.
- Installation of K-Frame CXP Production Switchers and Korona panels in the production control rooms (PCR).
- Integration of a 12G Masterpiece Master Control Switcher in the master control room (MCR), supporting a wide range of 4K input sources.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Grass Valley will be showcasing its end-to-end solutions at Broadcast India in Mumbai between October 14–16 on stand D04.
