Magna Systems to Showcase IP and Media Infrastructure Solutions at METexpo 2021

After what was arguably one of their most successful shows at the inaugural METexpo, Magna Systems is returning to this year’s conference and exhibition with a showcase of cutting-edge media infrastructure and IP solutions.

As Magna group sales and marketing manager Paul Maroni explains, “METexpo is a very important event for the industry. After the last show Magna signed up two of our biggest ever media and infrastructure deals including the major installation we are currently completing at MediaHub Australia. As a result we are coming back with even more cutting edge solutions this time around. When all is said and done, METexpo gives us the best value as exhibitors and gives our customers the best opportunity to engage with us in an open forum, particularly after the last 12 months when most people were working from home.”

Maroni and the Magna team have been working on their METexpo stand for a while as the industry faced unprecedented challenges during the COVID pandemic.

Magna Systems group CEO Matthew Clemesha added, “METexpo represents a real opportunity for the industry to come together. It creates a momentum and allows people from all sectors of the market to engage over the latest technology to come up with the best ideas. There are real-life benefits at the show as system architects, engineers and technicians, who won’t be going to overseas tradeshows anytime soon, can use Magna’s stand as their single point of focus to explore different solutions from multiple vendors.”

Magna’s stand at METexpo will be a haven of hands-on demos focusing on media infrastructure, the transition to IP, IP workflows and organisations who have already transitioned to IP.

Maroni added, “It won’t just be traditional broadcasters who attend METexpo. There will be the new generation of content creators, aggregators and distributors such as MediaHub Australia, and SKY Racing all of whom are looking for the latest in innovation. As a result our stand will have a fully integrated, working, end-to-end solution that encompasses Broadcast Control Systems, Software Defined Networking and the monitoring of compressed, uncompressed and OTT signals – all in real time.”

Magna are truly stepping up the standard and quality of their demos at this year’s METexpo as they acknowledge and recognise where the industry has moved to over the last 12 months and where it’s heading.

Paul Maroni concluded, “We will have an integrated demonstration of each product and solution we represent within a complete workflow. This means attendees will be able to see, in real-time, a broadcast control system managing traditional and legacy hardware and IP infrastructure in both local and remote environments and yes, it will include remote production.”

The Magna METexpo 2021 stand will also showcase the latest in comms, RF, media transport, contribution and distribution solutions from their technology partners including RTS, Enensys and Nevion.
