Magna Systems & Engineering has signed a channel partner agreement with Black Box the global information technology solutions provider. As a result Magna will now provide the Black Box keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) product range to the broadcast markets across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. Magna has served the broadcast industry in the Asia Pacific region for more than five decades.
Magna group CEO Matthew Clemesha said, “At Magna Systems we are involved in large-scale system integration projects and Blackbox KVM solutions extend our product range — and the opportunities we can bring to our customers. This expansion of our relationship with Black Box means we are even better equipped to deliver complete solutions and to serve as the single vendor managing a project from end to end. This in turn significantly benefits Magna Systems’ customers.”
The KVM product range from Black Box includes the award-winning Emerald Unified KVM platform, which provides the exceptional flexibility and network security essential to state-of-the-art KVM extension and switching. The low-latency, high-performance Emerald 4K and Emerald SE transmitter-receiver pairs connect workstations with remote computers and servers over distances up to 10 kilometres over single-mode fibre, or even farther over IP, while the new Emerald Remote App facilitates convenient anywhere, anytime access. Other KVM products from Black Box include the Boxilla centralised KVM manager, the DKM modular KVM 4K video matrix switching and extension solution, and NIAP 3.0-certified secure KVM switches.
“We’re pleased to be working more closely with Magna Systems in raising the profile of our KVM products in Asia-Pacific markets,” said Hans-Peter Kuhnert, Vice President of International Sales. “The company is a long-time leader in the broadcast technology space, and we look forward to further shared success in enabling broadcasters to implement KVM solutions that enhance everyday operations while reducing overall costs.”
