NBN Co welcomes the Australian Government’s announcement as part of the Federal Budget 2026-27 to modernise the Telecommunications Act 1997 and the National Broadband Network Companies Act 2011.
NBN Co supports legislative changes that will improve the rollout of fibre and new telecommunications infrastructure, including the delivery of services to multi-dwelling residential and commercial buildings.
