Optus customers with an existing Netflix service can migrate their current subscription to SubHub with their profiles and preferences also carrying over.
Clive Dickens, VP of TV, Content & Product Development at Optus said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Netflix as our latest SubHub partner, with its vast selection of best-in-class entertainment now available to all Optus SubHub customers.”
Ben Cox, Director of Business Development at Netflix said, “Optus was one of Netflix’s first partners in Australia, and many Aussies’ first experience of Netflix would have been as part of their Optus plan.
”These new bundles are the perfect evolution of our partnership with Optus, and will continue to make it easy and affordable for people to experience the joy of Netflix.”
As part of the launch, Optus has also created two new Optus nbn Internet Family Entertainer bundles offering an nbn connection, a Standard Netflix subscription and a WiFi booster, all included in one home internet plan.
A new 5G Internet Entertainer Superfast plan with Standard Netflix subscription and next gen plug and play WiFi6 modem is also being introduced.
