The Australian Commuunciations & Media Authority has released a draft variation to the Radiocommunications (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class Licence for consultation.
The proposed updates relate to:
- wireless broadband in the 24.25–25.1 GHz band
- Internet of Things devices in the 928–935 MHz band and VHF high bands
- radiodetermination devices in the 10.5–10.55 GHz band
- other minor changes for consideration.
ACMA is also calling for suggestions on future updates to the transmitters authorised under the class licence.
The deadline for feedback on the draft variation is COB, Monday 26 October.
