NZ’s World’s Fastest Indian Goes 4K

He was Hell on Two Wheels and it’s an incredible story of a New Zealander who rebuilt an Indian motorcycle and set a world land speed record. NanoTech Entertainment, a pioneer in bringing the 4K Ultra HD experience to consumers, has announced that UltraFlix, NanoTech’s all 4K Ultra HD network, has been granted the distribution rights to “The World’s Fastest Indian,” the award-winning biographical film that stars Sir Anthony Hopkins. 

Based on a true story, “The World’s Fastest Indian,” is an inspirational, feel-good film about beating the odds to achieve your dream. In the film, Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins’ plays the part of New Zealander Burt Munro, an age-defying thrill-seeker who spent years building the 1920 Indian motorcycle that helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.

Winner of 10 prestigious industry awards, “The World’s Fastest Indian” was the recipient of New Zealand Screen Awards for Best Picture, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, Best Achievement in Directing, Best Screenplay and several others.

4K NanoTech’s Studios produced the 4K digital master from the original film using a combination of state-of-the art film scanning equipment combined with 4K Studios proprietary video and audio techniques.
