Optus Sport App Launches on Hisense TVs

In a further strengthening of its devices offering to customers, Optus Sport has partnered with VIDAA USA to launch the Optus Sport app on Hisense TVs powered by their operating systems, so subscribers can now enjoy streaming the world’s best football more seamlessly.

Customers with Hisense TVs manufactured from 2020 onwards – meaning those with TVs operating VIDAA U5, VIDAA U6 and VIDAA U7 – can now take full advantage of Optus Sport content.

On June 15, Optus Sport’s live and exclusive coverage of UEFA EURO 2024 will get underway.

Howard Rees, Head of Optus Sport, said: “The launch of the Optus Sport app on Hisense TVs further strengthens our commitment to ensuring our customers enjoy a great viewing experience when they’re watching the world’s best football on Optus Sport.”

Guy Edri, CEO, VIDAA USA, said: “As a platform, we always strive to offer our users access to the best global and local content. Optus Sport is one of the leading sports streaming applications in Australia, so partnering with them ahead of Euro 2024, for which they have broadcast rights, is a logical step. With almost two-million connected devices in Australia, we’re also one of the leading platforms in the market, which will provide Optus Sport with additional reach before the world’s premier football event.”

Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing, Hisense ANZ, said: “As proud sponsors of the UEFA EURO 2024, we are thrilled our Hisense customers will have a fantastic viewing experience via Optus Sport. With adaptive features such as AI Sports Mode, football fans can enjoy the best that European football has to offer from the comfort of their couch!”
