Rise, the membership organisation supporting gender diversity within the broadcast technology sector, is excited to announce the launch of its first mentoring programme for the APAC region in Singapore. The launch follows the recent appointment of Nancy Diaz Curiel, Managing Director of Digigram Asia, to head up Rise APAC.
The free six-month mentoring programme will follow the template set by Rise UK, which is currently running its third annual mentoring scheme. Women working in operations, engineering, sales, marketing and business roles within the broadcast technology sector are invited to apply for up to 20 available places.
Each mentee will be assigned a mentor and will have at least 12 hours of mentoring contact with their industry professional. Nancy Diaz Curiel,Head of Rise APAC, said, “As an active participant in several previous mentoring initiatives in the APAC region, I am excited to launch our own Rise programme. The encouragement and support that mentoring offers cannot be underestimated, and the career opportunities it opens are very exciting. I really encourage women working in the broadcast technology sector to take up this fantastic offer.”
