Hit Oldskool is SCA’s #1 DAB+ station, featuring non-stop old school hits from the 90’s and noughties, nostalgic mashups, and all 80’s music on #ThrowbackThursday.

MMM Country, playing good times and great country, features contemporary music by many celebrated Aussie and international artists, from Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers and Keith Urban, to Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, and Carrie Underwood.

These stations join Hit Easy and MMM Classic Rock, bringing the total number of SCA DAB+ Stations available in this Hobart to four.

Hobart Content Director, Phil Bradley, said, “We are excited to bring Hit Oldskool and MMM Country to Hobart on our increasing DAB+ platform. These stations will complement our current SCA stations and we’re sure they will be popular additions as DAB+ listenership continues to grow across Hobart with even greater variety.”

Meanhile, Triple M has rolled out another DAB+ Station with MMM Hard N Heavy launching in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The new DAB+ station is launching with “all Metallica all October”, the “world’s greatest heavy metal band” non-stop on MMM Hard N Heavy. Then, as a destination for lovers of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, fans can expect MMM Hard N Heavy to play everything from Metallica to Motley Crue, AC/DC to Anthrax, KISS to Korn.

Triple M’s Head of Music, Mickey Maher said, “Australia has a large and very passionate fan base of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal yet, until now, it’s a genre that has been underserviced on Australian radio. The people have spoken and we are really excited to launch Hard N Heavy. I’m sure the fans won’t be disappointed!”
