Following the launch of DELTACAST’s first 25GbE IP board earlier this year, DELTACAST now unveils its latest innovation: a new generation of hybrid IP and SDI I/O boards. Unique on the market, these new DELTACAST I/O boards can simultaneously capture and play back multiple SDI and ST 2110 streams, as detailed by our Product Manager in the video below.
The transition from baseband to IP, and especially from SDI to ST 2110, is ongoing in multiple industries. The adoption of this new technology will unfold over several years, and a wide range of facilities will need to operate both ecosystems in parallel over the coming years. The new hybrid boards have been designed precisely for this transition, combining 25GbE SMPTE ST 2110 and 12G-SDI connectivity on a single PCIe card.
