GDC Technology Limited (‘GDC’), a global provider of digital cinema solutions, has announced it will showcase the company’s latest products at CineEurope 2022, the official convention of the International Union of Cinemas (UNIC), an international trade association representing cinema exhibitors and their national associations across 38 European territories. CineEurope will take place from June 20 to 23 at the Barcelona International Conventions Center (CCIB). GDC is located on Level P1, in meeting room MR131.
GDC will showcase a complete product line of SR Series media servers, including SR-1000 IMB with the audio capability of rendering up to 32-channels of DTS:X immersive audio that supports SMPTE’s ST 2098-2 immersive audio bitstream (IAB) standard. Additionally, two types of FAST media servers will be displayed including the SR-5400C, which can play 4K 3D at 48 frames per second per eye in 3D; and the SRC-7500 media player, designed for the Unilumin LED cinema screen measuring 16-meters wide and supports 4K@96fps.
New advanced features are being added to the flagship Espedeo Supra-5000 RGB Plus Laser Phosphor Cinema Projector; such as the built-in options for a 5.1 / 7.1 cinema audio processor for PCM uncompressed surround sound to reproduce an incredibly deep, rich listening experience, and the immersive sound option of a 15.1 cinema audio processor with a DTS:XTM for IAB immersive audio decoder. The fully integrated laser projector with diskless media server and cinema audio processors with IAB decoder offer the audience with a total immersive experience at a affordable price. Additionally, a complete set of MAG Cinema speakers plus matching amplifiers meeting the requirements of a DTS:X immersive audio installation will also be showcased. A new programmable light-show choreographer – DiveCtrl Dynamic Lighting System, to bring new visual entertainment with moving images shall be showcased in Europe for the very first time. You will be amazed with the ease of programming such device to bring “lively” entertainment to the audience at an affordable price.
