IHSE Provides Products to Benefit Distributed Workforce

Draco MultiView

The new Draco MultiView 4K60 is a four-port Multiview Display Processor which combines a high performance 4K60 multi-image video processor with remote keyboard/mouse control. Four models are offered supporting either a single-head 4K DisplayPort or HDMI output or a similar concept for those needing dual-head 4K Display outputs. The units can display and control up to four computer screens at a time on a single 4Kp60 monitor.

IHSE’s Draco MultiView 4K60 provides scalable, zero latency interaction with the Draco compact XV or Draco enterprise XV KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) matrix systems and is capable of integrating 1000’s of high-quality endpoints by simply using the embedded OSD (On Screen Display) from a user’s keyboard. The matrix OSD allows users immediate access to view and control up to 32 PC sources per quadrant. Also, up to 32 Hot-Key macros per input source can be configured by the KVM control system allowing instant preview of different computers or cameras when installed in command and control environments. With the tera tool configuration software, any source on the KVM system can be quickly assigned to any input of the MV42 Multiviewer with immediate access to 1000’s of servers or computers.

These units can operate as standalone units or fully integrated with Draco tera KVM matrix systems.

Draco SIRA User Station

The Draco SIRA User Station is a remote extension appliance for KVM networks that integrates seamlessly with Draco SIRA CON Unit for IP access allowing secure access to any IHSE KVM matrix system. The appliance provides keyboard and mouse connectivity as well as analog audio output. Up to three 4K displays can be connected via two DisplayPort connectors and one HDMI 2.0 interface. Multiple incoming KVM streams are supported and allow optional display capabilities to arrange multiple images in a single quad-view arrangement. The Draco SIRA User Station provides flexible remote access to all servers and devices connected to a Draco tera matrix. The TCP/IP protocol is isolated from the matrix by the use of a secure and encrypted interface over the connected network.

These units can operate as standalone units and combined together to create a secure IP-KVM system using the highest level of encryption and network security interfaces.

Design Guide

Remote workers present a unique challenge to protecting confidential company data because remote work environments don’t have the same safeguards in place that would be found in an office environment. When workers are at the office, they are typically behind several layers of security control and firewalls. While there may be different levels of security in an office environment it becomes a much higher risk to the company to prevent security breaches once a computer leaves the office security perimeter.

To assist with helping our customers with the most critical concerns of a work-at-home plan, we’ve compiled a range of best-practice tips and working strategies to minimise this potential risk – whatever your business vertical or business size.

Draco System Designer

The primary purpose of design systems is to increase efficiency in system integration development. With IHSE’s Draco System Designer it becomes easier to design KVM systems that fits your specific configuration needs. Draco System Designer is built on the experience of designers and engineers who have been developing KVM components for over 35 years.

KVM management and distribution is more important than ever with the vast array of computer interfaces that challenge system design teams – and having the right products for the right applications is a huge piece of what makes a company successful.

With Draco System Design users can pick from any of extenders and switch products. Optional frame packaging, add-on options and special accessories can be included. Systems are built on-the-fly and can be saved in PDF or exported in a .CSV format for spreadsheet management. Visual representation diagrams are generated as well as Bill of Materials, power consumption and build-templates that can be sent to your IHSE sales team for a quick quote.

Draco vario

The new extender enables video transmission of dual-head DP 1.1 ports at 1080p60 or a single DP 1.1 port at 2160p30 including keyboard and mouse signals over a single duplex fibre-optic cable or a Cat X cable

These new extenders enable resolutions of up to 1920×1200 pixels at 60 frames per second in dual-head mode with pristine image visualisation in 24-bit colour depth (true colour) and optimal 4:4:4 colour space. Single-head transmission at 4K30 is also possible. The module supports embedded digital audio transmission via the DisplayPort interface to suit monitors with integrated loudspeakers without additional audio modules or cables. In addition, Draco vario add-on modules for other interfaces such as USB 2.0, analog audio and RS232 can be integrated and transmitted via the same data stream.

The DisplayPort 1.1 Dual-Head (DPDH) extender is the perfect solution to separate a dual-head workplace from its associated computer. Users can access and operate a remote computer in real time using their workplaces’ keyboard, mouse and monitors.

Locating source computers in an environmentally-controlled server room protects them from unauthorised access and adverse environmental influences including dust, moisture and heat. It also frees working environments from computers that take up space and emit heat and fan noise.
