Metro Vancouver Company wins Emmy for Remote Access Technology

A tech company headquartered in Burnaby, BC has received an Emmy award for its remote access technology that helped keep TV workers connected during the coronavirus pandemic.

Teradici won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Engineering Development, according to a company news release.

“We are honoured to be recognised by the Television Academy for our work, especially in this year that has seen so much disruption for so many of our customers,” said Dave Hobbs, co-founder and Chief Architect for Teradici.

The company’s offices are near Canada Way and Wayburne Drive, and their technology allows workers in the media and entertainment industry to access their workstations and the software they need from home.
