Torque Video Systems is boosting its line of DVMon monitoring platform for DTV networks, with support for the new transmission standard DVB-S2X.
Danny Wilson, Founder and CEO of Torque Video Systems said, “This latest addition to the DVMon family provides in-depth technical analysis of DVB-S2X modulation quality. Both real time and historical log measurements are supported.
DVB-S2X represents a dramatic improvement in performance and features, including an efficiency gain of up to 51 percent compared to its predecessor. The higher bitrates capable with DVB-S2X help enable the wider adoption of Ultra High Definition Television (UHDTV) services.
Onsite trial runs and demos of the Torque DVMon with DVB-S2X support are well under way. Customer feedback reveals that deployment by early adopters will find new opportunities for further expansion, improved cost performance and profitability.
