AVIA OTT Virtual Summit
March 30, 2021 @ 12:30 pm - March 31, 2021 @ 8:30 pm
As we head into a busy new year, we want to take a moment to wish all of you our warmest wishes for a better and stronger 2021, and to announce our plans for the first conference of the year – the OTT Virtual Summit.
Having been the first to bring you a virtual video industry conference with the OTT Summit and a successful hybrid event for the Asia Video Summit last year, we are pleased to announce dates for our first event of the new year.
The OTT Virtual Summit will be held from 30 – 31 March. The goal is to assess both the current reality as well as the future prospects of the video streaming industry. Has the pandemic accelerated development or hindered business opportunities? To what degree is the industry going direct to consumer or is partnering with telcos more important to get critical mass? And what do the business deals look like in that supply chain? These and so many more questions will be covered as we look forward to another exciting but most definitely challenging year of streaming ahead.
Prior to the OTT Summit on 29 March we will be hosting Piracy Over the Top, the companion event focused on streaming pirated services. Streaming piracy is the biggest competitive threat to our industry and investing in anti-piracy measures should become the new ‘cost of doing business’. The 2021 Piracy Over the Top Summit will be an opportunity to hear from recognised international authorities as they discuss proven and effective strategies which disrupt and curb streaming piracy and how these can be employed for greatest effect.
