With a major policy review underway in Australia, and with Canada’s government looking to implement a new system of regulation, join representatives from SPA and their Canadian counterparts the CMPA for an in depth discussion of the future regulatory landscape.
Both the Australian and Canadian Governments are looking to respond to the increasing popularity of streaming services and the need for them to play a role in contributing to cultural outcomes. In our discussion we will find out more about how the Canadian Government is planning to do this and what lessons there might be for Australian policy-makers.
The discussion around terms of trade is also heating up again in Canada, and our panellists will share insights on this vital issue.
