    September 16, 2020 @ 11:00 pm - September 17, 2020 @ 11:00 pm

Today an increasing number of actors, such as standalone SVOD platforms, catch-up services from broadcasters or linear OTT Apps are experiencing more frequent performance challenges. This can stem from their internationalisation, growing user experience expectations or video consumption spikes.

In the meantime, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), the geographically distributed servers that enable content to reach end-users more rapidly, have become the de facto standard to ensure efficient video delivery throughout the world.

After a brief overview of market trends, highlighting the growth of international platforms and the issues related to connectivity and OTT offers surges, the panel will focus on the characteristics and challenges at stake when implementing a multi-CDN strategy.

There will be an emphasis on:

Impact on bandwidth costs and overage fees
Loading time and overall user experience improvements
    Traffic spikes management

    Orchestration and load balancing
