    NZCS welcomes one its accredited members, John Toon NZCS ACS, to share his depth of experience across the topic of lighting in the world of film and television production.

    Join us for an illuminating event in Auckland where we’ll explore the art and science of lighting. With JT as our guide, we’ll dive into a myriad of topics in a laid-back, ‘ask anything’ format.

    This is your chance to pick the brain of one of our greatest cinematographers. Wondering what’s changed in lighting technology over the years? Curious about the differences between local and international practices? Or perhaps you’re keen to unravel the secrets of creating natural, believable lighting on screen? No question is too out there!

    Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event promises to shed light on key aspects of the craft and ignite your creativity for future projects.

    We’ll start with mingling at 6:30 PM, followed by the presentation kicking off promptly at 7:00 PM.
