RED Solitary Series | TimeLapse & Advanced Recording Modes

In this Solitary Series, we dive into getting away from the traditional Start and Stop Continuous Recording Modes with the DSMC2 and RANGER camera systems. Of all the Advanced Recording Modes with the REDs, we’ll focus primarily on the TimeLapse functionality within the camera system and showcase how you can easily convey a shot that tells the passage of time, in a cinematic way that matches your previous narrative shots look and feel. We will build off of the presets we learned in Menu Tactics [Part 1 & 2] and create easily swappable presets that allow you to go from traditional Recording to TimeLapse and back with ease.
