Transition to IP 2.0

Many broadcast facilities have started the transition to IP over the past few years. However, this past year has changed the scope of this transition. Initially, the transition was primarily focused on a move from a SDI-based facility to one based on SMPTE ST 2110. Some larger media companies extended this transition to connect multiple locations over Wide Area Networks (WAN). Today, there is a new dimension to consider - private or public cloud environments. In this session, we will cover the new reality of hybrid facilities with on-premise and off-premise resources, how to bridge SMPTE ST 2110 facilities with cloud environments, and how orchestrate and monitor it all.
