Video Adapting to COVID-19
April 29, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sydney Video Technology is a volunteer group, as part of many groups independently run around the world.
Tonight’s hosts will be:
Amy Prosser, Senior Engagement Director at Brightcove
Jeremy Brown, Head of Video & Advertising Architecture at Seven West Media
Damian McNamara, Head of Digital Video Infrastructure & Operations at Seven West Media
There have been a number of video tech meetups held online and they have all been different formats from social chat to traditional two speakers and a webinar. We obviously want to continue and adapt our format digitally and feedback has always been that members love the social aspect as much as the content so we’re going for a mix but welcome any thoughts and ideas for what else you might like to see.
Adam Ulman – CTO & co-founder Jamm.app
“Not another conferencing app!?!” I hear you say. Some will remember Adam from TokBox where his experience in webRTC has extended into a pretty unique experience he will share why Jamm think the world needs yet another video chat tool and tips for remote working
Look, it’s been hard. Lots of amazing people were let go. Some of us have spent years planning big events for 2020 that won’t happen. We will stay online to just to catchup and hangout.
Food and drink at this event will be provided by YOU at your house.
Our friends at Fastly are keen to get us all in a small crowded space when we are allowed again https://fastly.com
