    Dave Polyard’s expertise includes broadcast automation systems, news production systems, content storage management (HSM) systems, and workflows related to migration of content to the Cloud. In the past year, Dave led successful workshops on topics including content preservation and media archiving. Prior to joining AWS, Dave was a senior executive for several broadcast technology firms as well as a former broadcast journalist. Dave is based in Henderson, Nevada, USA.

    Varun Parange – COO and Product, Hotspring

    Varun is the co-founder, COO and Product at Hotspring. He leads the development of the Hotspring platform, which powers the decentralised creation of VFX through a network of talent around the world. Prior to Hotspring, he was the co-founder and COO of Trace VFX, one of the world’s largest VFX vendors that worked on a range of projects from Academy Award-winning films to Superbowl spots.
