DVEO to Debut Linux-Based Premio and D-Streamer with Web UI

DVEO will introduce updated versions of its Premio encoder and D-Streamer decoder at IBC2026, moving both product lines from Windows to Linux and adding browser-based control.

The Linux-based Premio adds a web UI for configuration and monitoring, replacing the Windows application operators have used to manage the encoder. The new version also supports multiple outputs per channel, allowing a single encoded channel to feed more than one destination without additional hardware.

D-Streamer receives the same operating system and interface update. The Linux-based version adds a web UI and the ability to output SDI and UDP simultaneously from the same channel, giving operators a single decoder that can feed both a local SDI destination and an IP distribution path at once.

“Moving Premio and D-Streamer off Windows and onto Linux isn’t just a platform change,” said Wouter van Ruth, Global Partnerships and Sales at DVEO. “It’s what lets us put a web UI in front of operators and add capabilities like multiple outputs per channel or simultaneous SDI and UDP output. Those are the kinds of requests we hear directly from broadcasters running these boxes every day.”

DVEO will demonstrate both updated products on-site at IBC2026; broadcast and media professionals can book time with the team in advance.
