Orban has good news for its OPTIMOD 5950 and 5950 HD users! At IBC2026, Orban will be demonstrating its new MXneo Limiting technology. MXneo takes its MX Limiting technology to a new level, combining the punch and loudness performance MX is known for with the lowest distortion in the industry.
For contemporary material such as pop, rock and similar formats, some users like to drive the processor hard – which can create audible distortion on critical material. MXneo substantially reduces distortion and significantly improves HF performance, resulting in ‘best-in-class’ loudness and the lowest distortion.
