Broadcast Solutions, a system integrator and provider of solutions for the broadcast media industry, has taken another significant step in strengthening its senior management structure to support continued growth and innovation. Humphrey Hoch has been promoted to the new role of Co-CTO, forming a unified technology leadership team with Rainer Kampe, Pierre Mestrez and Maarten Carpentier.
The company recognises that technical excellence is critical for continued growth and established its CTO Office at its Bingen headquarters in 2024. Pierre Mestrez leads software and services, while Maarten Carpentier has primary responsibility for solutions and architecture.
Hoch has now been appointed Co-CTO to bring these efforts together in service of clients. He brings extensive experience in the media industry, including roles with L-S-B Broadcast Technologies and Lawo. For the past eight years, he has served as Senior Director of Innovation at Broadcast Solutions, while also guiding the development and eventual spin-out of the hi human interface platform.
As part of the new structure, Hoch also joins the senior leadership team, initially working alongside CTO and Managing Director Rainer Kampe. This is the first stage of a coherent strategy that will see Hoch bringing refreshed energy to Broadcast Solutions’ designs and engineering, while Kampe moves over the next year into a broader role focused on strategy, market development and key partnerships.
