IABM, the international trade and business association for Broadcast and Media Technology, has appointed Simon Bull as Head of Sales and Membership Engagement.
Simon’s role includes overall responsibility for IABM’s membership engagement, retention and recruitment along with commercial revenues from business intelligence, events, sponsorship and training to support IABM’s diverse range of members around the world. Simon is also responsible for IABM’s international membership engagement executives.
Simon Bull brings a wealth of management experience in membership organisations and trade associations to his role in IABM. These include: the Institute of Directors, Institution of Mechanical Engineers, BusinessLDN, Institute of Hospitality, Musicians’ Union, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the Institute of the Motor Industry, among others. Simon’s responsibilities at these organizations encompassed UK and international membership development and retention, marketing and communications, business development, sponsorship, professional development, regional networks and events.
