Recently one of the legends of the ‘live’ broadcasting world, Henry Barczynski, the founder of Gigawave, was laid to rest near his home in Bordeaux, France, having passed away suddenly.
Many of us in Vislink and around the World mourn his loss and remember a man who drove his Team hard but drove himself even harder.
From humble beginnings, Henry committed his life to excellence, serving in the British Army during which time, he was awarded the prestigious Military Medal for Bravery under fire.
Henry went on to become a visionary RF Engineer, Leader and Businessman with many of his ideas and system architectures still being utilised today by international police and security forces, broadcasters and global sports brands.
Henry had a tremendous influence on our company, our culture and our customers. His focus on customers, entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude is his legacy which we strive to live up to everyday.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his beloved wife Jan who supported Henry in the many adventures of his life. We are grateful for all that Henry did for our company; may he rest in peace.
