Premier Australian Digital Product Studio Two Bulls Joins DEPT

Local digital product studio Two Bulls has joined DEPT, one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in the world, signalling its entry into the Australian market. With a team of over 120 people, Two Bulls’ cross-disciplinary offering spans several industries including health, family and the public sector.

Melbourne-based Two Bulls is a Webby and Victorian Export Award-winning digital product studio that specialises in solving complex challenges with simple digital solutions, bringing together innovative engineering, creative perspective and thoughtful design.

A pioneer in the Australian market since 2009, it found early success with Hidden Park, an award-winning, location-based augmented reality game. Since then it has partnered with global brands like Vodafone, Verizon and MailChimp, Australian icons like Beyond Blue and Scouts Australia, created leading products such as the world’s first iPad-powered point of sale system Breadcrumb, and supported numerous Australian start-ups like digital addressable LED light bulbs LIFX, real estate platform Real Time Agent and the 28 by Sam Wood wellness platform.

In June 2022, Two Bulls was selected by Thai media giant T+B Media Global to establish a $100 million Metaverse research and development Hub in Melbourne, as part of the company’s ambitious $420 million plan to develop Translucia – an immersive metaverse experience for global technology users.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2015, DEPT has quickly grown across the globe, from 150 people in The Netherlands to more than 3,500 people in seventeen countries across five continents, working with brands including Google, Philips, eBay, Patagonia, ASOS, and Diageo. The agency launched in Asia Pacific at the start of the year, headed up by former Havas regional CEO Vishnu Mohan, and is planning further expansion in the region.
