New CFO for Foxtel Group

The Foxtel Group has announced that its Group Chief Financial Officer, Stuart Hutton, has decided to leave the company, and will be replaced by Stacey Brown as Chief Financial Officer later this year.

Ms Brown will commence her role in August 2023, and Stuart will continue until September 2023 to ensure a smooth transition period.

Foxtel Group CEO, Patrick Delany, said: “Stuart has played a key role in our continuing transformation and supporting the company through four consecutive quarters of growth.

“Stuart joined us two years ago to assist with our continued transformation efforts, proof of which is our latest financial results, and he has played a key role in engaging our financial market stakeholders with our turnaround story. With his family based in Melbourne and much of the role being Sydney based, the challenges with the weekly commute was an important part of his decision.

“I am pleased to announce that Stacey Brown will be joining us in August as our Chief Financial Officer to replace Stuart’s role. Stuart remains with us until September to ensure a smooth transition period.”

Ms Brown was previously the Chief Financial Officer of News Corp Australia from July 2017 to March 2020, and has extensive experience in financial management, governance and leadership, having also served as the General Manager (Finance) (2012-2015) and Deputy CFO (2015-2017) of News Corp Australia. Since leaving News Corp, Stacey has been Group CFO at Laser Clinics Group, the world’s largest Aesthetic beauty business, where she made a major contribution to their international expansion during the last 2 years. Stacey has also been a director and chair of the audit committee of Hipages, a listed subscription marketplace for Tradies, for the last five years and was involved in their IPO in 2021.

Prior to News Corp, Ms Brown held a number of senior financial roles across a variety of corporations including the Lowy Family Group, Qantas and Multiplex and has previously been a director and chair of the audit committee for Qantas Superannuation and KU Children’s Services.
