Grass Valley has released EDIUS 11 version 11.50, introducing several powerful new features, including a new search function for quickly finding effects, new capabilities for timeline clips, enhanced 32-bit floating-point audio support, and powerful local AI-based automatic subtitle generation.
In addition, exclusive to the EDIUS Broadcast version, EDIUS 11.50 introduces Quick Fix Export. EDIUS Broadcast is the only software on the market to offer this feature.
The new tool enables editors to revise exported files rapidly by replacing only specific sections of a video during a dedicated post-processing step. Quick Fix Export is particularly valuable for large, complex projects that typically require long rendering times.
Editors can, for example, update text in end credits without re-exporting the entire production. Because the process works without re-encoding, the original image quality remains fully preserved.
Grass Valley Introduces New EDIUS 11 Crossgrade Program
Grass Valley has also announced the launch of the EDIUS 11 Jump 2 Upgrade (Crossgrade), a new offering designed for editors transitioning to EDIUS 11 from other video-editing platforms.
The Crossgrade is available to users who own an alternative editing solution with a purchase price or annual subscription fee of more than €100 / US$100 for the Pro version and €200 / US$200 for the Workgroup version.
As of today, the Crossgrade is available at the following recommended retail prices (excluding tax):

- EDIUS 11 Workgroup Jump 2 Upgrade (Crossgrade): €549 / US$599
