BINGE Confirms Season 2 of Colin from Accounts

After taking home three wins at the 63rd Annual TV Week Logie Awards and becoming the equal most awarded show of the evening, BINGE has announced a second season of the critically acclaimed, Colin from Accounts, has been greenlit.

Colin from Accounts is a romantic comedy co-created, written by and starring Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer. Centred on Ashley (Dyer) and Gordon (Brammall), the story is about two complex, funny humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog.

Season one took home Most Outstanding Comedy Programme at the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards with Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, both winning Most Outstanding Actor and Actress respectively. The BINGE original series is Foxtel Group’s most watched original scripted series of all time with Season one sold to multiple territories around the world, most recently the BBC in the United Kingdom where it launched to international praise.

Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, said, “We’re thrilled that BINGE is finally giving in and letting us do another one. Turns out the Border Terrier community is extremely powerful. Thank you to everybody around the world who has enjoyed the show, we can’t wait to bring you all a second season. Stay tuned for more shenanigans.”

Alison Hurbert-Burns, Commissioner and BINGE Executive Director, said, “The funniest couple on TV (and their dog) are coming back. BINGE is thrilled to confirm a second season of the award-winning Colin from Accounts. We left season one unsure if Ashley and Gordon could get Colin back so of course we need to see what’s next for these lovable characters that audiences in Australia, and the world have fallen in love with.”

Rob Gibson and Ian Collie, Easy Tiger, said, “It’ll surprise no one to learn that making Colin from Accounts was pure joy from beginning to end, so we can’t wait to dive into season two with Harri and Patty and the team. We’re deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our partners at BINGE and so are the many fans who’ve been clamouring for more of Gordon & Ashley (and Colin).”

Season two of Colin from Accounts will be produced by Easy Tiger Productions (Jack Irish, Rake, The Twelve). Patrick and Harriet will return to write, star and Executive Produce Season two. The series is distributed outside Australia and New Zealand by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
