Canon has launched it’s ‘Shoot from the Sidelines’ competition, giving Aussies the chance to win the Ultimate Rugby Photographic Experience in New Zealand.
Earlier this year, Canon announced its Worldwide Partnership of Rugby World Cup 2021 as the brand solidifies its support in the advancement of gender equality in the sport and builds on its advocacy for women on both sides of the lens.
The prize will give a budding photographer the chance to get up close and personal to the action in New Zealand with two semi-final and two final tickets, and a sideline shooting opportunity with award winning sports photographer Jo Caird. The winner will experience eight days in New Zealand with all flights, transfers and accommodation for both them and a friend. As well as that, they will get Canon gear on loan and a $5,000 NZD flight centre voucher to plan and capture their week full of activities.
The competition is open now and applicants can enter here, where they can fill out the application form and answer the question: Why do you want to shoot from the sidelines at RWC 2021?
The competition closes on 12 October 2022 at 5:00pm AEDT. The winner will be announced on Canon’s social media platforms on 20 October 2022.
