Sky Assembles Leading Rugby Voices for Epic All Blacks Season

Sky is bringing together its leading rugby commentators and pundits for a blockbuster conclusion to the All Blacks’ 2026 campaign, giving viewers expert coverage across the Bledisloe Cup and the northern leg of the Nations Championship.

From the bid to extend the All Blacks’ remarkable unbeaten run at Eden Park to three defining Tests in the northern hemisphere, Sky’s team will take viewers closer to every moment of a historic conclusion to the 2026 campaign.

The Bledisloe Cup begins at Eden Park on Saturday 10 October, where the All Blacks will be fighting to extend one of world rugby’s most imposing unbeaten runs. Tony Johnson will call the opening Test, with Justin Marshall and Jeff Wilson providing expert analysis. Te reo Māori commentary will also be available for the first Test on Sky Sport 2.

For the second Test in Sydney on Saturday 17 October, Jeff McTainsh will lead Sky’s commentary as the rivalry heads across the Tasman.

For the remaining Nations Championship Tests, Grant Nisbett will travel with the squad as Sky’s lead commentator. One of New Zealand sport’s most recognisable voices, Nisbo will be joined by All Blacks great Mils Muliaina as the team takes on Scotland, Wales and England. The pair will also commentate the All Blacks Test during the Nations Championship finals weekend.

Sky’s depth of rugby knowledge will be on show throughout the campaign, with wraparound coverage on all Tests featuring some of the game’s most accomplished players, including Angus Ta’avao, Aaron Cruden, Stephen Donald, Joey Wheeler and James Parsons.

The Breakdown will also move to two nights a week on All Blacks Test weeks, with a preview show on Thursday or Friday night previewing the Test, and a show on Sunday night reviewing the Test.

As well as being broadcast live on Sky Sport, All Blacks Tests will be available to watch free-to-air on Three and ThreeNow. Both Bledisloe Cup Tests will screen at 8.30pm on their respective nights, while each Nations Championship Test will screen at 11am on the morning of the match.
